Wire IT is seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer in Portugal. The role is Hybrid, based in Lisbon or Porto, offering a path to work with a senior team on Java back-end services, CI/CD processes, and IT incident management in a dynamic consulting environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, strong English, and hands-on familiarity with ServiceNow or Jira, Oracle/SQL, and agile practices.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience.
• English proficiency: C1 (or B2+).
• Strong Java back-end knowledge and CI/CD experience.
• Experience in incident management and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow or Jira.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience.
• English proficiency: C1 (or B2+).
• Basic knowledge of Java technology, particularly back-end.
• Good experience in CI-CD and DevSecOps: (Jenkins, XLD, XLR).
• Solid knowledge of databases: (Oracle, SQL views & scripts).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum).
• SQL experience.
• Experience in incident management.
• Knowledge in ServiceNow or Jira tools.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of ControlM is a plus.
• Knowledge of CFT and MQ Series is a plus.
• Knowledge of FBTI is a plus.
• Experience with XL Deploy is a plus.
• Functional appetite in the banking and Trade Finance sector.
