Wire IT, based in Portugal, is a specialized IT consulting partner with an experienced, senior team focused on helping clients navigate a fast-moving market. The company seeks an Intermediate Java Developer for a hybrid role in Porto, Portugal.

The candidate will work on Java development, Hadoop ecosystem (Spark/ Hive), and relational databases, in a collaborative, autonomous environment. Portuguese is preferred; English at least B2 is mandatory.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of Java development (Java 8+).
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience with Linux, JUnit, Maven and Git.
• Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem, including Spark (Java) and Hive.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Portuguese preferred; English (B2 minimum) mandatory.

Role: Intermediate Java Developer

Location

Hybrid, Porto, Portugal

Required skills:

• 3+ years of experience in Java development (Java 8 or above).
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working with Linux, JUnit, Maven, and Git.
• Knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem, including Spark (Java) and Hive.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proactive, autonomous, and able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Portuguese is the preferred language; English (B2 minimum) is mandatory.
