Movilges in Porto is seeking an Application Security Engineer to strengthen our team with hybrid work options. You will focus on application security and DevSecOps, applying secure coding practices and threat modeling.

You will work with containerization and orchestration, write scripts in Python/Bash/Java/Go, and communicate security concepts to technical and business stakeholders. English (B2) required, and you will join an international, innovative environment with opportunities for

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years as a Security Engineer focusing on Application Security.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration.
• Strong programming/scripting skills (Python, Bash, Java, or Go).
• Knowledge of security standards and best practices (OWASP Top 10, ISO 27001).
• Strong analytical skills for threat detection and security analysis.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset aligning security with modernization and business goals.
• CKA or CKS certifications (valued).
• Fluency in English (B2 mandatory).

Application Security Engineer

We are recruiting an Application Security Engineer (m/f) to strengthen our team in Porto, with the possibility of working in a hybrid mode.

What We Are Looking For

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience
• 3 years of experience (minimum) as a Security Engineer, with focus on Application Security and DevSecOps practices
• Hands‑on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies
• Strong programming and scripting skills (Python, Bash, Java, or Go)
• Knowledge of security standards and best practices, including OWASP Top 10 and ISO 27001
• Strong analytical skills for threat detection and security analysis
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders
• Proactive mindset focused on aligning security requirements with technology modernization and business goals
• CKA or CKS certifications (valued)
• Fluency in English (B2 mandatory)
