Decskill is expanding and seeking an Application Manager specialising in DevOps & SRE to oversee complex Windows/Linux server landscapes and cloud infrastructures. You will work with MES development, coordinate with IT-DEV teams, and help implement production software in manufacturing environments.

The role requires strong English communication, hands-on experience with virtualization, IaC, CI/CD, and knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

Qualificações

Degree in computer science or business informatics or IT apprenticeship completed with relevant experience.
2-3 years of server administration and network support in international context.
Knowledge of Linux, Windows servers and scripting languages.
Experience with virtualization, containerization, IaC, CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of Kubernetes, Azure Arc and cloud apps.
Strong structured, independent, result-oriented working style.
Good written and spoken English; German is a plus.

Responsabilidades

Configure, administer, maintain and monitor Windows/Linux servers and virtualization in cloud and data centers.
Analyze problems, develop solutions, and prepare decision-ready project plans.
Document lessons learned for training and knowledge sharing.
Lead sub-projects and support larger complex projects.
Develop MES in collaboration with in-house Dev teams and test implementations.
Test and install new software versions in production environments.
