Job Title: Appian Developer (Banking Sector)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

Work Model: Full-time & Hybrid (2 days on-site)

We are looking for an Appian Developer to join a challenging project within the banking sector. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in low-code development, system integrations, and collaborative delivery in agile environments.

You will contribute to the design and implementation of scalable business applications using the Appian platform, ensuring high-quality solutions aligned with strict financial industry standards and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design, develop, and deploy low-code applications and business processes using the Appian platform.
• System Integration: Configure and maintain connections with external systems and services using REST and SOAP web services.
• Data Management: Work with relational databases, writing and optimizing SQL queries to support application workflows.
• Collaboration: Actively participate in agile and collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams under a hybrid model.
• Technical Ownership: Drive solutions with a high level of autonomy, responsibility, and proactivity to meet strict banking requirements.

Requirements

• Appian Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in development and implementation using Appian.
• Integration Skills: Proven experience integrating Appian applications with external services via REST/SOAP.
• Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Industry Experience: Previous experience working within a banking or financial context is mandatory.
• Soft Skills: Strong teamwork abilities, autonomy, proactivity, and a high sense of responsibility.
• Languages: Fluent English and Portuguese required.
