Capgemini Portugal is seeking an experienced API and integration specialist to join our team. You will design API management solutions and drive cloud-native integrations across hybrid environments.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of API development and enterprise integration experience.
• Strong knowledge of API gateways (Kong, Apigee, WSO2) and SOA principles.
• Experience with event-driven and messaging platforms (Solace, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub).

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement API management solutions with Kong, Apigee, and WSO2.
• Build integration architectures using SOA, microservices, and event-driven patterns.
• Configure and manage messaging systems such as Solace, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Pub/Sub.
• Implement cloud-native integration services on Azure and Google Cloud.
• Ensure API security, governance, and lifecycle management across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Collaborate with AI and application teams to integrate ML models into APIs and workflows.
• Drive automation and CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and monitor integration performance; document best practices.

YOUR ROLE

• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills;
• Experience working on international integration projects.

YOUR PROFILE

• Design and implement API management solutions using platforms such as Kong, Apigee, WSO2, aligned with modernization and AI integration strategies;
• Build integration architectures leveraging SOA principles, microservices, and event‑driven patterns;
• Configure and manage messaging and event streaming systems (Solace, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub);
• Implement cloud‑native integration services on Azure (API Management, Event Grid, Service Bus) and Google Cloud (Apigee, Pub/Sub, Eventarc):
• Ensure API security, governance, and lifecycle management across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments;
• Collaborate with AI and application teams to integrate machine learning models and intelligent services into APIs and workflows;
• Drive automation and CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments;
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and monitor integration performance to ensure high availability and scalability;
• Document integration processes and maintain best practices for modernization and AI‑enabled architectures.
