PrimeIT is seeking an experienced API/Integration Architect to design and govern enterprise integration architectures across global teams. You will define standards, present complex integration specifications to stakeholders, and ensure scalable, secure solutions aligned with GDPR requirements.

Ideal candidates will have up to 15 years in integration roles, a related engineering degree, and proficiency with API/middleware patterns and Agile practices, including JIRA and Confluence.

Qualificações

• Up to 15 years of experience in an API / Integration Architect or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of integration platforms, patterns, and modern integration architectures (APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture).
• Experience in strategic and enterprise-level integration projects.
• GDPR awareness and data protection principles.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and analytical mindset.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and define integration architectures aligned with enterprise and business requirements.
• Develop integration guidelines, standards, and governance frameworks for integration platforms.
• Define, document, and present complex application integration specifications to stakeholders.
• Evaluate and propose new integration rules and patterns aligned with market best practices and emerging trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to ensure alignment of integration solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert in integration platforms and architecture decisions.
• Support and contribute to strategic integration projects within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Ensure integration solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with regulatory requirements (including GDPR).
• Provide architectural guidance and ensure quality and consistency of integration deliverables.
• Participate in stakeholder discussions, presenting and defending architectural decisions and proposals.

Technical Requirements:

• Up to 15 years of experience in an API / Integration Architect or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of integration platforms, integration patterns, and modern integration architectures (e.g., APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture).
• Experience in strategic and enterprise-level integration projects.
• Good understanding of Energy & Utilities industry (preferred).
• Knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence (valued).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work in collaborative and global environments.

Portuguese – Mandatory.

Salary Package & Benefits:

€1750 to €3500 (base salary) + Food Allowance + Flex Benefits
