Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking an Android Tech Lead to drive architecture and evolution of a new Android experience. You will mentor engineers, set best practices, and guide critical decisions across the mobile stack in collaboration with backend and design teams.

You will lead architectural decisions, ensure scalable performance, and shape how the app delights millions of users while growing the team with ownership and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of Android development experience with lead or principal role.
• Mastery of Kotlin, Coroutines, and Flow.
• Proven track record of defining mobile architecture for large-scale consumer applications.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) interactions or mobile-backend integration strategies.
• Strong ability to drive technical consensus and mentor senior engineers.
• Experience writing and maintaining extensive unit and UI test suites.

Responsibilities

• Establish architectural patterns and best practices for a new Android implementation.
• Mentor and onboard incoming engineers to minimize ramp-up time.
• Architect complex solutions requiring deep Android system and networking knowledge.
• Lead technical decisions on mobile architecture and integration strategies.
• Collaborate with Distinguished Engineers to align with standards.
• Oversee the design system implementation across the Android codebase.
