Adyta, a Portuguese cybersecurity company, seeks an Android Developer to build reliable, maintainable software. The role is hybrid in Porto, full-time, with a focus on secure, high-assurance mobile solutions.

You will collaborate with backend and design teams, write well-tested code, and ensure performance and security across Android apps. The candidate should have 2+ years of Android experience, strong Kotlin/Java skills, and a clear English/Portuguese communicator.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong command of Kotlin and Java, with solid knowledge of Android SDK, app lifecycle and Jetpack components.
• Solid understanding of Android architecture patterns - MVVM, Clean Architecture - and dependency injection frameworks.
• Experienced integrating REST APIs, handling asynchronous data flows, background operations and error handling.
• Experience with data persistence - storing and retrieving data efficiently and reliably.
• Writes unit and integration tests as a natural part of development, with a long-term view on product quality.
• Proficient with Git and comfortable in collaborative, cross-functional teams
• Analytical thinker - questions assumptions, anticipates failure scenarios and backs decisions with evidence
• Clear communicator in English and Portuguese, written and spoken

Responsabilidades

• Be a key contributor to Android application, helping shape their architecture, development, and continuous improvement
• Work closely with backend and design teams to deliver clean and maintainable solutions
• Write high-quality, well-tested code and participate in code reviews
• Ensure the app remains reliable, secure, and performant
• Contribute ideas and improvements based on Android best practices
• Maintain clear documentation to support team collaboration
