WIRE IT is seeking an Application Security Engineer based in Porto, Portugal. This hybrid role offers a no-term full-time contract and covers various aspects of application security, including vulnerability analysis and remediation. The candidate will work within a focused team and will be offered various perks, including health insurance and paid vacation days.

Conhecimentos

Professional experience in Application Security, DevSecOps or Cybersecurity

Strong knowledge of application vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10 / API Top 10) and Secure SDLC

Hands-on experience in vulnerability analysis, tracking, and remediation

Experience working with SAST, DAST, SCA tools

Experience performing secure code reviews and threat modelling

Knowledge of cloud security in AWS and/or Azure environments

Experience with modern architectures (APIs, microservices)

Experience integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines

Familiarity with tracking tools such as JIRA

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work autonomously

Good communication skills

Fluent English (spoken and written)
