Deel is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to design and maintain data models and end-to-end data pipelines in a fast-growing SaaS environment. You will leverage SQL and dbt to support analytics and dashboards with Looker/Tableau, enabling reliable data for stakeholders across the organization.

You will work with data analysts and engineers, ensure data quality, and contribute to process improvements while communicating complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical teams.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics).
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar data analytics engineering or BI development role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling tools (such as dbt) and data warehousing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with business intelligence platforms (e.g., building dashboards in Looker, Tableau, or similar).

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain data models (e.g., in dbt) that align with the overall data architecture and business requirements.
• Manage data pipelines end-to-end, from data extraction to transformation and loading, to provide timely and correct data for analysis.
• Utilize complex SQL queries and macros to transform data efficiently, optimizing queries for performance as needed.
• Incorporate data quality checks and cleansing routines to ensure datasets are reliable and accurate.
• Work closely with data analysts and other analytics engineers to ensure consistency and accuracy in metrics and definitions across the team.
• Contribute to team processes by occasionally leading portions of meetings or sharing improvements to analytics workflows.
