Softlanding is launching a Tech Hub in Porto and seeks an Analytics Engineer to design and build data products, models and semantic layers for trusted analytics. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional data teams to deliver scalable, governed data solutions in a modern lakehouse.

Key focus areas include optimizing data quality, implementing automated tests, and translating finance/reporting ideas into robust data logic.

Qualificações

• 2–3 years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Modelling or Data Products.
• Strong experience with SQL and dbt (or equivalent transformation frameworks).
• Knowledge of dimensional modelling, star schemas, slowly changing dimensions and semantic layers.
• Experience translating business processes and KPIs into reusable and governed data logic.
• Understanding of data quality, documentation, lineage and governance practices.
• Experience with Git, testing frameworks and CI/CD for analytics development.
• Experience with SAP BW structures and finance reporting logic is a plus.
• Experience with finance or commercial data is a plus.
• Knowledge of Databricks SQL and Unity Catalog is a plus.
• Ability to work closely with business stakeholders and translate reporting requirements.
• Strong English (international working environment).
