Job summary

TAP Air Portugal is building a Data & AI Centre of Excellence to design scalable and secure AI architectures across the Azure stack, from data ingestion to production. You will lead technical governance, steer the Design Authority, and ensure compliance with security and privacy policies.

The role focuses on GenAI patterns, RAG, agent frameworks, and robust integrations (VNETs, Private Endpoints) with enterprise applications. Experience with Azure OpenAI, ML, Foundry, and Databricks is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven enterprise architecture experience with cloud security, resilience and scalability.
• Strong mastery of Azure AI stack and related services (OpenAI, ML, Foundry).
• Hands-on experience with identity management (Entra ID) and network isolation.
• Deep knowledge of GenAI patterns (RAG, grounding, evaluation).
• Experience with Databricks and MLOps/LLMOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable and secure AI architectures from data ingestion to production.
• Define standards, guardrails, and governance across all AI initiatives.
• Lead the technical stream of Design Authority and ensure security/compliance alignment.
• Advance CoE technical framework, IaC templates, observability and reusable patterns.
• Provide guidance on GenAI patterns, agent frameworks, and partner solutions.
