Job summary

Deel is hiring an AI Security Specialist to lead the guardrails for AI-powered systems and agentic workflows. You will define security standards, evaluate threats, and implement controls that protect Deel's platform and customers.

You’ll enable safe internal AI adoption while maintaining a strong security posture across engineering, product, and security teams. You will drive AISPM and AIDR implementations, design DLP and data-flow controls, and ensure compliance with SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001,

Qualifications

• Experience securing AI-powered systems and AI/ML models.
• Knowledge of SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliance.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, product, IT, and security teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain AI security strategy across Deel's infra and product ecosystem.
• Lead security assessments and threat modeling for AI/ML models and AI systems.
• Evaluate AISPM and AIDR solutions and deploy them securely.
• Secure MCP server deployments with authentication, authorization, and data flow controls
• Oversee internal AI tool adoption with guardrails for safe, fast iteration
• Develop policies for safe use of AI tools (LLMs, code generators, AI SaaS)
• Support secure internal development, CI/CD hardening, and dependency scanning
• Plan and conduct penetration testing focused on AI models and AI systems
• Design DLP controls, data classification, and prompt injection mitigations
• Review AI connectors, plugins, and third-party integrations with structured approvals
• Collaborate with SOC on AI-specific detection rules and playbooks
• Monitor AI threat landscape and translate risks into controls and policies
• Ensure AI deployments meet SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR and related regulations
