Job summary

Clan in Lisbon is seeking an experienced Manager in AI Security, Governance & Risk to lead high-impact security transformations for enterprise AI solutions. You will drive architectures, guardrails, and risk-mitigation across GenAI and autonomous AI initiatives.

The role demands cloud security expertise, AI risk governance, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams. Excellent English communication is essential; this is a Lisbon-based on-site position offering growth and global impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven professional experience in security for cloud platforms, applications, or enterprise infrastructure.
• Hands-on background securing GenAI platforms, LLMs, and Agentic AI applications.
• Solid understanding of AI Runtime Security, Agent Security, AI Guardrails, and Responsible AI principles.
• Familiarity with tools such as NVIDIA NeMo Guardrails, Azure AI Content Safety, Azure AI Foundry, Google Vertex AI, or AWS Bedrock.
• Deep familiarity with AI risk/governance frameworks (NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act, OWASP).
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholders.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead AI Security initiatives: direct platform and application security projects for enterprise AI solutions.
• Define architectures, guardrails, standards for AI models, autonomous agents, and data pipelines.
• Guide GenAI and Agentic AI protection, including autonomous agents and tool/API integrations.
• Implement runtime security, identity management, and privilege controls for agent behaviors and delegation.
• Operationalize AI governance and compliance, including policies and lifecycle traceability.
• Conduct AI risk assessments and mitigate threats like prompt injections and data leakage.
• Translate regulatory requirements (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001) into controls for audits.
• Support business development and innovation through pre-sales and new AI security offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

- To lead AI Security initiatives: Direct platform and application security projects for enterprise AI solutions, acting as the ultimate technical reference in AI Security, Runtime Security, and AI risk management.

- To define architectures & guardrails: Establish security architectures, standards, and best practices for AI models, autonomous agents, multi-agent systems, workloads, and data pipelines.

- To guide GenAI & Agentic AI protection: Help clients design secure Generative and Agentic AI applications—including autonomous agents, tool/API integrations, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).

- To implement runtime security & identity management: Deploy runtime security monitoring, guardrails, identity/access controls, and privilege management to regulate agent behaviors, tool usage, and delegation.

- To operationalize AI governance & compliance: Establish AI governance frameworks, including policies, system inventories, lifecycle traceability, and human-in-the-loop oversight mechanisms.

- To conduct risk assessments & mitigation: Perform AI risk and impact assessments, track risk indicators, and mitigate threats such as prompt injection, jailbreaks, data leakage, model abuse, and unauthorized autonomous actions.

- To translate regulatory requirements: Map regulatory frameworks (such as the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and OWASP LLM/Agentic AI Top 10) into technical and organizational controls, supporting maturity and compliance audits.

- To support business development & innovation: Engage in pre-sales activities, contribute to the development of AI security offerings, and stay ahead of market trends and emerging threats.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Proven professional experience in application security, cloud platforms, or enterprise infrastructure security.
