MSD is seeking a Data Scientist with a growth mindset to turn data and AI into measurable business value. You will partner with cross-functional teams, advise stakeholders, and champion innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities include developing AI-enabled solutions, MVPs, and data products, deploying GenAI capabilities, and ensuring governance and responsible AI practices aligned with company priorities.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, ML, AI, BI, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience across end-to-end analytics lifecycle (exploration, prep, feature engineering, model development, validation, deployment, monitoring, value measurement).
• Experience with Generative AI technologies, LLMs, AI copilots, AI agents, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or R, plus SQL and modern data science libraries.
• Experience translating business opportunities into analytical and AI solutions while managing stakeholder expectations and driving adoption.
• Consulting, communication, and change management skills to influence across organizational levels.
• Experience identifying and prioritizing innovation opportunities using data automation and AI tech.
• Knowledge of cloud analytics environments and AI platforms (Azure, Databricks, AWS, GCP or equivalent) preferred.
• Ability to work in agile, cross-functional teams and lead initiatives driving organizational change.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or related quantitative field.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with business teams to identify, prioritize, and deliver data science, segmentation and AI use cases that generate measurable business value.
• Design, develop, and deploy advanced analytics, ML, GenAI, and predictive solutions to solve critical business challenges.
• Translate complex business needs into scalable data products, insights, models, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Act as an AI enabler by promoting adoption of AI technologies, educating stakeholders, facilitating experimentation, and driving responsible AI practices.
• Develop prototypes, proofs of concept, and MVPs to accelerate innovation and validate business opportunities.
• Leverage modern data platforms, cloud technologies, ML frameworks, and generative AI capabilities to improve efficiency and effectiveness across business processes.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data teams, commercial functions, and business leaders to ensure solutions are sustainable, scalable, and aligned with strategic priorities.
• Communicate analytical findings and AI opportunities clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, enabling informed decision-making.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, experimentation, and innovation across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, security, and responsible AI standards.
