Sovos is seeking an AI Tech Lead to guide the LLMOps foundation within the AI Platform. You will lead decisions on models, tooling, and observability, while mentoring engineers and shaping architecture across Sovos’ AI-enabled features.

This hybrid role sits in Navi Mumbai, with opportunities to influence multiple product teams. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of software experience with production AI systems, strong communication skills, and hands-on experience with Claude Code, Cursor, and

Qualificações

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with production ML/AI systems.
• Deep familiarity with LLMOps, evaluation, observability and cost optimization.
• Experience guiding engineers, mentoring, or formal leadership.
• Strong architectural instincts for scalable AI platform features.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day technical leadership to AI Platform engineers.
• Design AI-enabled features and agentic services from prototype to production.
• Advise on designs across teams and ensure reuse and risk management.
• Build guidance, playbooks, and tooling for platform adoption.
• Collaborate with product/leadership to align roadmaps and priorities.
