Metyis is growing! The AI Principal will own architectural standards and drive a large-scale AI transformation in Porto.

You will shape data foundations, coordinate with data, IT, and business stakeholders, and oversee AI system design and deployment across international contexts. Join a dynamic team at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, data engineering, and applied AI, with exposure to diverse tools and platforms.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, IT architecture.
• Experience with AI tooling and platforms.
• Ability to set architectural standards across teams.
• Experience reviewing technical decisions by engineers or vendors.
• Strong cloud provider experience (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and monitoring.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience in international/consulting/scale-up environments is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure architectural consistency and portability of AI solutions.
• Establish scalable, reliable, secure data and technology foundations.
• Advise on solution design and target architectures for AI apps.
• Draft technical specs and oversee development progress and testing.
• Oversee integration, management, and scaling of AI systems.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and manage costs.
• Lead project governance and technical forums as needed.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
