Job summary

Accenture Technology in Lisbon is seeking Mid and Senior AI Engineers to design, build and optimize AI-powered solutions using state-of-the-art ML and generative AI technologies.

You will develop LLM-based applications, including RAG pipelines and agentic workflows, integrate vector databases and tooling, ensure performance, safety and scalability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud architectures. Portuguese and English fluency (B2) is required.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in AI, Software Engineering, or related areas.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI ecosystems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern software engineering practices.
• Solid understanding of AI application architectures, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Experience with vector databases and semantic search solutions.
• Knowledge of agentic frameworks, tool calling, and orchestration patterns.
• Understanding of AI safety, evaluation, monitoring, and guardrails.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and model deployment workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English B2 (minimum).
