Job summary

Remote Crew is seeking an AI Developer to design and build AI-powered applications using Python and modern ML tooling. You will collaborate with senior engineers to create scalable, reliable AI solutions that integrate data pipelines, APIs, and model components.

The role is 100% remote in Portugal, offering a permanent contract and a salary of €50k-€62k per year. You’ll work with LLM frameworks, vector databases, knowledge graphs, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Python development experience.
• Experience building REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Strong knowledge of LLMs and AI app development.
• Experience deploying in AWS/Azure/GCP and using IaC tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-powered business applications using modern Python technologies.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and model integration.
• Develop REST or GraphQL APIs to enable seamless data integration across systems.
• Implement AI solutions using LLM frameworks, vector databases, and knowledge graphs.
• Deploy and manage cloud-based applications across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, and software quality improvements.
• Work closely with senior engineers to design scalable and reliable AI solutions.

They’re looking for an AI Developer to design and develop intelligent applications, working with cutting-edge technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs), knowledge graphs, vector databases, and cloud-native platforms. What You’ll Do

• Design and develop AI-powered business applications using modern Python technologies

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of professional experience with Python development
• Strong experience building REST or GraphQL APIs
• Solid understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI application development
• Hands-on experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar
• Experience working with vector databases and knowledge graph technologiesStrong background in data engineering, including SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience deploying applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Professional proficiency in English

Nice to Have

• Experience designing advanced document retrieval and RAG-based solutions
• Familiarity with production AI systems and cloud-native architectures
