Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking an AI/ML software engineer to design, deploy, and optimize AI solutions across business domains.

The role focuses on building AI applications and workflows using modern ML techniques, including LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and agent-based systems, with collaboration across engineering and business teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning or a related field.
• 1–3 years of software engineering, AI/ML or data science experience (internships and academic projects count).
• Solid Python development skills.
• Knowledge of GenAI concepts such as LLMs, embeddings, RAG and agentic workflows.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock) and related services.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, Promptflow or similar frameworks.
• Experience developing APIs and integrating AI solutions into applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve AI solutions across domains.
• Build AI apps and workflows using ML and GenAI technologies (LLMs, embeddings, RAG, agents).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into AI-driven solutions.
• Develop, test, and maintain AI/ML pipelines and cloud-native services for production.

Your mission will be…

• Designing, developing, and improving AI solutions that help solve real business challenges across different domains.
• Building AI applications and workflows using modern machine learning and Generative AI technologies, including LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agent-based systems.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into practical AI-driven solutions.
• Developing, testing, and maintaining AI/ML pipelines and cloud-native AI services that can operate reliably in production environments.
• Contributing to the deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI applications, ensuring they deliver measurable business value.
• Leveraging cloud platforms and AI services to create scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Staying up to date with the rapidly evolving AI landscape and helping bring new technologies, ideas, and best practices into projects.
• Working closely with experienced AI engineers, software developers, and architects while continuously growing your technical and consulting skills.

We are looking for someone with…
