Job summary

Cloudflare is scaling one of the world’s largest networks, and as an Infrastructure Network & Supply Engineer on our Capacity Planning team you will turn forecasts into scalable expansions, ensuring capacity is in the right place at the right time and cost.

You’ll design internal tools, AI agents, dashboards, and workflows to speed planning and reduce manual toil, partnering with planning, operations, procurement, logistics, engineering, and finance.

Qualifications

• Experience in capacity planning or related technical planning roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience across complex operational systems.
• Hands-on experience building tools, automation, or internal products.
• Fluency with AI tools in daily work and appetite to use/create AI tooling to scale decision-making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate demand forecasts into infrastructure capacity plans aligning hardware deployments with performance, cost, and timeline targets.
• Ensure infrastructure readiness across space, power, connectivity, and hardware availability.
• Build quarterly and weekly deployment plans optimized for execution across operations, logistics, integration partners, and engineering teams.
• Track progress, resolve blockers, and maintain deployment momentum across the global fleet.
• Partner with Procurement and Data Center teams to ensure hardware and resources are available at the right time and locations, and manage inventory.
• Design, build, and ship internal products—forecasting models, dashboards, planning systems, and automated workflows—using AI/agentic tooling.
• Identify high-leverage opportunities to automate repetitive work and improve planning at scale.
