Siemens Global Business Services is seeking an AI Delivery Lead to manage end-to-end AI projects, bridging business and technology. You will guide backlog planning, ensure timely delivery, and align solutions with business goals across stakeholders.

The role requires 7+ years in project management for AI/Data projects, strong PMI-PMBoK knowledge, and excellent English. Hybrid work model with global collaboration and growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/DS/IT or related field required.
• Minimum 7+ years in project management within AI, data analytics, or digital transformation.
• At least 3+ years as PM for AI/ML projects with agile delivery.
• Experience managing delivery budgets and business stakeholders.
• PMI-PMBoK knowledge; PMI certification highly valued.
• Strong English proficiency is mandatory.

The AI Delivery Lead is accountable for the end-to-end lifecycle, delivery, and business value of AI-powered projects and solutions.

This role bridges business and technology, ensuring that Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI (GenAI), and Agentic AI solutions are successfully developed, deployed, operated, and continuously improved to meet business objectives.

The AI Delivery Lead leads cross-functional project teams, manages project budgets and financials, prioritizes delivery backlogs, manages project execution and engages stakeholders across business and IT.

While not a hands-on developer, the role requires sufficient technical expertise in AI/ML technologies to effectively guide backlog planning, manage scope, assess risks, drive timely delivery, clarify requirements and run business process analysis with stakeholders.

This is a customer facing role that is about more than project management; it actively encompasses engaging stakeholders to understand use cases and business needs and liaising with our AI experts to turn business understanding into project proposals for impactful AI solutions.

Your mission will be…

Project & Delivery Management

• Manage the execution of AI projects, ensuring delivery on scope, timeline, budget, and quality objectives.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams including data scientists, AI engineers, ML engineers, MLOps specialists, and business analysts.
• Coordinate internal teams, external providers, and consulting partners.
• Drive agile delivery practices and oversee planning, sprint reviews, release management, and continuous improvement.
• Manage risks, dependencies, escalations, and issue resolution.
• Ensure AI services adhere to organizational security, compliance, privacy, and governance requirements.
• Work closely with AI engineers, data scientists, architects, and business stakeholders to refine requirements.
• Define and maintain solution features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Build business cases for AI investments and track realization of expected benefits.

Stakeholder Management

• Translate business requirements into actionable technical deliverables.
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders, process owners, and operational teams.
• Communicate service status, roadmap progress, risks, and value realization to stakeholders.

Process Improvement & Transformation

• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, and optimization.
• Design future-state processes and support business transformation initiatives.
• Identify operational challenges, bottlenecks, and risks and propose solutions.
• Establish and document process flows, business rules, and operating procedures.

We are looking for someone with…

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Business Management or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in project management roles in AI, Data & Analytics or Digital Transformation. This is mandatory.
• At least 3+ years working as a project manager for AI/ML projects; this is mandatory.
• Proven experience managing software, AI, or data-driven projects in agile environments is mandatory.
• Experience managing delivery teams, project budgets, and business stakeholders is mandatory.
• Experience as a project manager in a consulting environment is highly valued.
• Experience in a technical/developer role in AI is highly valued.
• Experience in a Shared Services or Global Business Services organization is valued.
• Experience as a product/service manager in a SaaS environment is valued.
• Solid knowledge of project management methodologies, especially Scrum and PMI-PMBoK, is mandatory. PMI certification is highly valued.
• Good understanding of Machine Learning lifecycle, model development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Practical knowledge of Generative AI concepts, including LLMs, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, AI agents, and foundation models.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and AI deployment platforms is valued.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is valued.
• High proficiency in English is mandatory.
