Siemens Global Business Services in Portugal seeks a Senior AI Architect to lead enterprise AI design, governance and delivery, focusing on Generative AI, NLP and intelligent automation.

You will act as the technical authority for AI architecture, guiding solution design, mentoring teams, and ensuring alignment with enterprise technology strategies in a diverse, collaborative environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional IT/Analytics/AI experience.
• 7+ years designing, building and deploying AI-based solutions as senior engineer or tech lead.
• Experience interfacing with engineering teams as a tech lead or solution architect.
• Background in consulting and working with multiple technologies and business scenarios.
• Experience with complex, enterprise-grade systems using multiple technologies and compliance requirements.
• Direct experience with core Generative AI concepts and ML lifecycle.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AI Architect to lead the design, governance, and delivery of enterprise-scale Artificial Intelligence solutions, with a strong focus on Generative AI, Agentic AI, NLP, Machine Learning, and intelligent automation.

The successful candidate will serve as the technical authority for AI architecture, enabling business transformation through scalable, secure, and responsible AI solutions. This role combines solution architecture, AI engineering expertise and leadership, and technical stakeholder engagement. The Senior AI Architect will define architectural standards, support solution design, guide delivery teams, mentor technical teams towards continuous growth, and ensure alignment with enterprise technology strategies.

Your mission will be…

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in IT, Data/Analytics or ML/AI.
• 7+ years of direct professional experience in designing, building and deploying AI-based business solutions, as a senior engineer or tech lead. This is mandatory.
• Experience in interfacing with engineering teams as a tech lead and/or solution architect is mandatory.
• Background in consulting, working with different technologies and business scenarios, is valued.
• Experience working in scenarios of complex, enterprise-grade systems with multiple technologies and strict compliance requirements are highly valued.

We are looking for someone with…

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in IT, Data/Analytics or ML/AI.
• 7+ years of direct professional experience in designing, building and deploying AI-based business solutions, as a senior engineer or tech lead. This is mandatory.
• Experience in interfacing with engineering teams as a tech lead and/or solution architect is mandatory.
• Background in consulting, working with different technologies and business scenarios, is valued.
• Experience working in scenarios of complex, enterprise-grade systems with multiple technologies and strict compliance requirements are highly valued.
• Direct professional experience as a senior engineer or tech lead working through the whole ML lifecycle.
• Direct professional experience with core Generative AI concepts, including Deep Learning fundamentals, Model evaluation and monitoring, Feature engineering, RAG, Embeddings and Vector Search, NLP.
• Direct professional experience with MLOps/ practices and AI deployment platforms. Experience with MLflow and Databricks is highly valued.
• Direct professional experience in designing, deploying and managing ML/AI solutions in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Superior ability to assess risks and technical trade-offs and guide AI solution decisions.
• Experience with AgenticAI frameworks and approaches - namely ADK, MCP, LangGraph/LangChain - is highly valued.
• Knowledge of data engineering, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture principles, are highly valued.
• Experience with SDLC and solid knowledge of Software Engineering principles and best practices are highly valued.
• High proficiency in English.
