Empa-T, Lisbon-based, seeks a Data Scientist to join an international Insurance & Financial Services project, shaping data-driven strategies and AI-powered solutions. Design, develop, and deploy ML models; build predictive analytics; and optimize ML pipelines using Python, MLOps, LLMs, and Knowledge Graphs, translating data into actionable business insights.

Collaborate with stakeholders across disciplines in a hybrid setup (Lisbon, 1x/week) and contribute to innovation initiatives and client

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, data science, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with ML algorithms and model development.
• Experience with data analysis, statistical modeling and predictive analytics.
• Solid proficiency in Python and AI/ML ecosystems.
• Experience with MLOps frameworks and ML lifecycle management.
• Experience working with LLMs and Generative AI solutions.
• Knowledge of knowledge graphs and linked data technologies.
• Experience designing scalable data and AI architectures.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Define and implement data-driven and AI-focused strategies for clients.
• Design, develop, and deploy ML and AI solutions to address business challenges.
• Build predictive and analytical models to generate actionable insights.
• Develop and optimize ML pipelines and MLOps practices for scalable deployments.
• Work with LLMs and Generative AI technologies to create solutions.
• Design and implement Knowledge Graphs and Linked Data solutions.
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and opportunities.
• Create visualizations and presentations translating findings into recommendations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solution adoption.
• Stay updated with AI/ML trends and translate them into business applications.
• Contribute to business development and pre-sales initiatives.
