Job summary

HAVI TechHUB in Lisbon is seeking an AI & Automation Engineer to join the AI & Automation Factory. You will design, build, and deploy production-ready AI capabilities, with emphasis on Generative AI and agentic solutions that can reason, plan, and act via tools and enterprise integrations.

You will collaborate with Solution Architects, Data Stewards, Analysts, Product Owners, and SMEs to deliver secure, scalable AI solutions across the full lifecycle—from discovery and prototyping through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, AI/ML, or related field.
• Professional software engineering experience (backend and/or full-stack).
• Hands-on GenAI exposure (RAG, prompt orchestration, tool calling).
• Experience integrating AI with enterprise systems via APIs and data pipelines.
• Fluency in English.

• Design, build, and deploy production-ready GenAI capabilities.

We are hiring a AI & Automation Engineer

About The Role

We are looking for a AI Engineer to join our TechHUB in Lisbon!

You will be a key contributor within the AI & Automation Factory, responsible for designing, building, and deploying production-ready AI capabilities, with a primary emphasis on Generative AI (GenAI) and agentic solutions that can reason, plan, and execute actions via tools and enterprise integrations.

The role partners closely with Solution Architect, Solution Analysts, Data Stewards, Data Analysts, Product Owners, and business SMEs to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable AI solutions across the end-to-end lifecycle—from discovery and prototyping through engineering, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

The Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI/ML, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
• Professional experience in software engineering (backend and/or full-stack).
• Any level of hands-on exposure to GenAI solutions (e.G., RAG, prompt orchestration, tool/function calling, agent frameworks) - from academic/personal projects for early-career candidates to production delivery for senior candidates.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems using APIs, events, queues, ETL/ELT, and identity/security controls.
• Proven experience operating solutions with monitoring, logging, incident triage, and performance/cost optimization
• Fluency in English.
