To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Advanced Purchasing Buyer in Ovar.

Responsibilities:

Cost Reduction Contribution: Review and negotiate supplier offer related to the parts used in all new projects under development, initiate and lead VAVE & Benchmarking activities, use link and leverage opportunities with new sourcing potentials in new & existing projects in order to achieve overall cost reduction targets.
Supplier Sourcing: Prepare supplier sourcing in alignment with the category buyer for new and existing business to achieve the overall cross functional targets and objectives based on the Yazaki and OEM requirements.
Strategic Purchasing: Periodical reporting of project material cost status and achieved cost improvement performance by using the established Supply Management templates and tools.
Purchase Data Quality & Compliance: Perform assigned commodity KPIs, overall contract management and process compliance.
Investigates and keeps up to date with the latest processes, methods, tools & techniques from own area of expertise.
Perform any other relevant duties as required for the position

Candidate’s Profile:

Bachelor's degree (preferable but not mandatory) in Engineering & Business Administration or a related field
4-6 years of experience
Fluent in English - other languages desirable
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to interpret large sets of data to make informed decisions
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Expertise in Power BI and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis
Ability to condense and present complex information to key personnel in meaningful reports and presentations
Ability to view situations on both a large and small scale
Familiarity with analytical and statistical tools and software
