Peri Group is seeking a finance professional in Castanheira do Ribatejo to manage credit risk and collections across customers. You will monitor solvencies, update data, oversee payment processes, and collaborate with Sales and Order Management to optimise interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the risk-oriented credit check and credit decisions for new and existing customers according to the Credit Policy.
• Conduct a permanent monitoring of customer solvencies and data base update.
• Monitor incoming payments for deliveries and services
• Conduct the collection process (monthly statements, dunning, telephone collections, deadlines, hand-over to lawyer/court)
• Distribute information to OTC-process involved employees regarding solvency and payment behaviour
• Monitor monthly deviations of Credit Management KPIs
• Conduct regular receivables meetings with Sales and clients
• Monitor and optimise interfaces to Order Management and Sales
• Continuous training of Sales on Credit Management topics
• Carry out visits to banking institutions to perform deposits and submit documentation, as required
• Carry out visits to customers to maintain a smooth and close relationship

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Conduct the risk-oriented credit check and credit decisions for new and existing customers according to the Credit Policy
• Conduct a permanent monitoring of customer solvencies and data base update.
• Monitor incoming payments for deliveries and services
• Conduct the collection process (create monthly statements, dunning process, telephone collections, customer deadlines, active realisation of overdue claims to hand-over to lawyer/court)
• Early, systematic and best possible distribution of information to all in the OTC-process involved employees regarding solvency and payment behaviour of customers
• Monitoring monthly deviations of Credit Management KPIs
• Conduct regular receivables meetings with Sales and clients.
• Monitor and optimise the processes and interfaces to Order Management and Sales
• Continuous training of Sales on Credit Management topics
• Carry out visits to banking institutions to perform deposits and submit documentation, as required.
• Carry out visits to customers, to maintain a smooth and close relationship.
