Air Liquide Europe Business Services (ALEBS) seeks Accounts Receivable Specialists & Analysts at junior to senior levels to join our international C2C team. You will manage daily cash application, resolve unapplied payments, and support reconciliations while contributing to process harmonization across European entities.

We value degrees in accounting/finance, 4+ years’ AR/OC experience, and strong English (B2/C1).

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management or Business Administration.
• 4+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable / Order to Cash in an SSC or multinational setting is a strong plus.
• English: Upper-Intermediate to Fluent (B2+ / C1 mandatory); additional European languages valued.

Responsabilités

• Daily Cash Application & Clearings: post bank transfers and rebates; reconcile receivables in ERP.
• Payment Investigation & Risk Mitigation: identify unapplied payments and obtain remittances.
• AR sub-ledger to GL reconciliations and month-end closings; support audits.
• Drive process harmonization and ERP-driven improvements; participate in migrations/work-shadowing.
• Collaborate with multicultural teams, CFOs and customers; provide mentorship.

Join Our Team as an Analyst or Specialist Accounts Receivable! Are you passionate about financial operations and looking to build or advance your career within an international environment? At Air Liquide Europe Business Services (ALEBS), we are looking for proactive Accounts Receivable Specialists & Analysts (open to Junior, Experienced, and Senior profiles) to join our energetic Customer to Cash (C2C) team! If you enjoy working with numbers, solving payment puzzles, and collaborating across multicultural teams in a flexible and dynamic workplace, this role is for you!

What will your day-to-day look like?

• Daily Cash Application & Clearings: Post incoming bank transfers, integrate manual receivables into the ERP, process direct debits/cheques, manage customer refunds, and handle balance adjustments.
• Payment Investigation & Risk Mitigation: Track down unapplied or unidentified payments, request remittances from customers, resolve discrepancies, and analyze aging reports or bad debt risk.
• Reconciliations & Reporting: Perform AR sub-ledger to General Ledger reconciliations, execute month-end closure activities (aging, unallocated payments), and support audit requests.
• Process Optimization & Strategy : Identify workflow optimizations, drive end-to-end process harmonization from an ERP perspective, and participate in migration or work-shadowing projects.
• Stakeholder & Team Collaboration: Work closely with multicultural internal teams, local CFOs, external customers, and provide support or technical mentorship.

How the Role Adapts to Your Experience Level:

• Junior / Experienced Analyst Level : Focuses on daily cash application, customer account clearings, payment investigations, month-end support, and learning standard operating procedures with team mentorship.
• Senior Specialist / Subject Matter Expert (SME) Level: T akes ownership of complex AR-to-GL reconciliations, high-priority account clearings, complex receipt resolution, process harmonization across European entities, and technical mentorship for junior analysts.

What are we looking for?

• Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, or Business Administration.
• Experience: Open to early-career professionals as well as senior candidates with 4+ years of proven experience in Accounts Receivable / Order to Cash (experience in a Shared Service Center / SSC or multinational is a strong plus).
• Languages: Upper-Intermediate to Fluent English (B2+ / C1 MANDATORY). Knowledge of additional European languages (French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch) is highly valued.
• Technical Mastery: Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Excel spreadsheets.
• Senior profiles require deep knowledge of AR reporting, cash management, credit/collection principles, and internal controls.
• Mindset & Soft Skills: Flexibility & Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with dynamic priorities. Strong problem-solving, analytical rigor, teamwork, and autonomy.
