GKN Automotive Portugal Limitada in Porto is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Lead to guide a team of 10+ AP professionals, drive process improvements, and ensure accurate processing and compliance.

You will coach staff, define KPIs, support audits, and partner with internal stakeholders during monthly closings, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in finance.
• Proven leadership in finance teams.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles.
• ERP systems and workflow tech knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 10+ Accounts Payables FTEs.
• Manage daily performance and team development.
• Define and track KPIs to support team success.
• Conduct regular 1:1s and team meetings.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
