Bosch Car Multimedia, S.A. is seeking an engineering specialist to study SIP (System in Packages) modules used in automotive products. You will analyze failure modes, material/design interactions, and manufacturing effects to develop robust design rules.

The role requires a mechanical or materials engineering background, English fluency, and strong analytical and teamwork skills. On-site work in Portugal with opportunities for training and professional development.

Qualificações

• Academic background in mechanical or materials engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of material properties with focus on thermal‑mechanical damages.
• Experience in experimental design and data analysis.
• Analytical thinking to address complex physical phenomena.
• Strong presentation skills and teamwork.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Understand the failure mechanisms under thermal‑mechanical loads.
• Analyze interactions between different material/design combinations.
• Assess manufacturing impact, especially reflow processes.
• Create design rules to mitigate SIP-related failures.
• Use simulation tools to support load-path design decisions.
