Job summary
A global language instruction company is seeking a Freelance Polish Instructor to deliver engaging lessons using the Berlitz Method. Instructors will enjoy flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work from home, accommodating personal needs. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, expert-level Polish, and exceptional communication skills. This role offers training in a proven teaching method and the chance to join a dynamic team. A commitment of 15-20 hours per week is expected.

Students come to Berlitz not just to learn a language, but also to gain an understanding of the culture. As a part‑time, Freelance Polish Instructor, you will work in a diverse environment that offers you a flexible schedule and casual dress code. While working with your students, you will use the Berlitz Method of instruction to create an environment where students feel free to experiment with the language and motivate them to achieve their language goals.
We provide you with a flexible training course where you will learn how to perform the Berlitz Method. You will also gain access to our platforms and technology which will allow you to deliver successful instruction.
This is all you need! We provide the students and support; you provide the instruction.
- Prepare for your lessons by going through the provided material and deciding what should be taught and how it can be customized based on the student’s needs.
- Create a risk‑free environment where students can feel free to make mistakes and experiment with the language.
- Document their progress after the lesson.
- Your schedule is based solely on your availability. We ask that you commit to providing 15‑20 hours per week.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Teaching experience is a plus but not required.
- Expert‑level Polish, intermediate English.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- A minimum of 15 Mbps download speed / 15 Mbps upload speed.
- A stable wired connection to the internet (Wi‑Fi is not sufficient).
- A PC or laptop running Windows 10 or higher, or macOS 11 or higher (Linux does not support our applications).
- A USB headset and a camera.
- For those living in areas where load shedding occurs, it is required to have a backup system to support your devices.
- At least 2 GHz of base processing speed and RAM equal or above 4096 MB (4 GB).
- As an instructor you can attend group language sessions free of charge.
- Flexible scheduling to fit your personal needs (must keep original schedule for the first 3‑4 months).
- The ability to work from home, allowing you to save time and money on your daily commute.
- Free intensive training of the Berlitz Method.
