A leading software development company in Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Guidewire Developer. In this fully remote role, you will manage Guidewire module development, lead DevOps processes, and mentor junior developers. Skills
We’re looking for an experienced Guidewire Developer to join our team and work on projects for clients from the insurance and technology sectors in Scandinavia. You’ll be part of a dynamic, international environment, taking on a technical leadership role – mentoring mid‑level and junior developers, enforcing best coding practices, and driving software development processes.
- Manage development of Guidewire modules, primarily PolicyCenter or ClaimCenter or BillingCenter or Integrations – review and write code in Java/Gosu.
- Ensure test coverage and code quality; integrate Guidewire with external systems.
- Lead DevOps processes, CI/CD automation, and enforce best engineering practices.
- Support recruitment efforts for technical team members and participate in occasional business trips (once per quarter).
- Mentor senior and junior developers; maintain technical ownership and influence over team processes and solutions.
- Minimum +5 years of experience as a software Guidewire developer.
- Strong commercial experience with Guidewire, especially ClaimCenter or PolicyCenter or BillingCenter or Integrations.
- Proficiency in Java and/or Guidewire.
- Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL.
- Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and CI/CD workflows.
- Fluent English – essential for working in international teams.
- Openness to occasional travel.
