What you will do

We are looking for a skilled professional to lead and develop a cross-functional team of highly performing individuals responsible for Data and AI deliveries for Volvo Financial Services.

We are a team dedicated to developing innovative Data Products and solutions on a cloud platform, leveraging advanced analytics and AI to deliver actionable insights. Our work involves building scalable, secure, and high-performance data-driven services that empower Volvo Financial Services to make smarter, faster decisions.

As a Digital Product Owner, you will lead an agile team of data professionals playing an important role in transforming the product vision into value creation.

Responsibilities

• Clarify and communicatethe team’s purpose, strategy, and alignment with business priorities.
• Manage and prioritizethe team backlog, ensuring it is visible, transparent, and well understood.
• Ensure compliancewith architecture, security requirements, and digital product strategy throughout the product lifecycle, including decommissioning.
• Coordinate dependenciesand collaborate effectively with other teams and business partners.
• Establish and fulfill SLAsfor all solutions managed by the team.
• Oversee support and maintenanceof digital products and solutions within the team’s scope.
• Collect and act on feedbackregularly to improve implemented work.
• Contribute to roadmap planningand capacity forecasting for digital products.
• Foster team development, culture, and capabilities to ensure delivery readiness and sustainability.

Who are you?

To be successful in this position, we believe you have a strong track record in stakeholder management and leading agile delivery teams within data-driven digital solutions. You thrive in a collaborative, high-paced environment and have a pragmatic, entrepreneurial can-do mindset.

A good understanding of cloud platforms, data management concepts, and familiarity with data analytics tools is a valuable advantage, helping to facilitate collaboration with technical teams and oversee digital products effectively.

You are a natural connector—someone who enjoys being the “spider in the web,” with a strong sense for people and the ability to drive change in a cloud-based environment. Experience in delivering cloud data products is essential, and having worked on data-driven services is a strong advantage.

In addition, we are looking for:

• You have a university degree in a relevant field and experience from leading functionally, preferably within IT management, Data Science, Information Management, or similar.
• Experience in finance or working in large enterprise environments is a plus.
• You should feel energized by working both independently and interdependently, have proven skills in cross-functional collaboration, and thrive in managing, fostering, and enabling both the perform and the transform angles of the job.
• You are a passionate believer in lifelong learning.
• You need to have solid professional English skills, both written and spoken.

We are looking for someone to join our local team in either Sweden, Gothenburg or Poland, Wroclaw. This role requires occasional travel.
