Job summary

Smith+ Nephew seeks an HR Technology Specialist for Absence and Time to support colleagues across the organisation in Workday HR systems. You will troubleshoot issues, guide users, test new releases and gather requirements to keep processes running smoothly.

You will also contribute to a Global Payroll Programme, ensuring Workday Absence, Time, and Pay impacting elements are configured to enable payroll deployments. This role focuses on delivering a seamless employee experience.

Join us as an HR Technology Specialist for Absence and Time and play a key role in supporting colleagues across the organisation as they navigate our Workday HR systems. If you enjoy problem solving, improving processes and helping people get the best from technology, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact.

Please note: This role is a 2-year fixed-term contract opportunity that will support a Payroll transformation.

What will you be doing?

Each day will bring variety as you become a go to person for Absence and Time Tracking within Workday. You will listen to employees and HR, understand their questions and guide them through solutions with clarity and care. You will troubleshoot technical issues, manage your caseload within agreed service levels and partner with colleagues across HR Services and Global Business Services to keep our processes running smoothly. You will also play a hands on role in testing new releases, gathering user requirements and making sure our systems support people in the moments that matter. You will be the HR Technology point person supporting a Global Payroll Programme, ensuring Workday Absence, Time, and Pay impacting elements are configured to enable successful payroll deployments. Your work will help shape a seamless employee experience.
