Job summary

Electrolux Group in India is seeking a Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking Expert to design, configure, and enhance Workday modules across time tracking, absence management, and US/Canada payroll. You will collaborate with HR processes teams, HR operations, and product owners to gather requirements, propose solutions, build prototypes, and deploy to production.

You will work with the People Technologies team to ensure system capability, accuracy, and timely delivery in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Workday experience focused on Payroll, Time Tracking and Absence Management.
• Experience with multi-country or global Workday deployments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments within a large, dynamic organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Owner and other Workday module owners to deliver enhancements.
• Provide ongoing support and consult on system capabilities and configuration for payroll, absence, and time tracking.
• Gather requirements and translate them into functional Workday solutions.
• Design, prototype, test, and deploy changes to production.
• Maintain documentation of Workday configurations within scope.
• Participate in Scrum sprints to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with integration engineers and AMS partner for payroll interfaces and incident resolution.

All about the role:

We are seeking highly skilled Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking Expert to join our dynamic People Technologies team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and enhancing system processes across the Workday Time Tracking, Absence Management, and US/Canada Payroll modules.

You will collaborate with People (HR) Process teams, HR Operations on both global and regional levels, and other key stakeholders to ensure optimal system functionality and user experience. Additionally, you will work closely with the People Tech Product Owner for Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, as well as other Product Owners in People Tech who manage different modules of Workday (HCM Core, Recruitment, Reporting, Compensation, Integrations). Your responsibilities will include collecting requirements with the Product Owner, designing and proposing solutions, building prototypes, conducting technical tests, and deploying to production.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate closely with the People Tech Product Owner for Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking, as well as other Product Owners managing different Workday modules (HCM Core, Recruitment, Reporting, Compensation, Integrations).
• Act as the main point of contact for the Product Owner, People Services & Solutions, and local Payroll Teams, providing ongoing support, advice, and consultation on system capabilities and configuration
• Understand stakeholder needs, collect requirements with the Product Owner and translate them into functional solutions
• Design and propose solutions, build prototypes, conduct technical tests, and deploy to production.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of Workday configurations within your scope.
• Participate in Scrum development sprints to ensure the timely delivery of enhancements.
• Collaborate with integration engineers to support the development and maintenance of payroll interfaces.
• Coordinate with the AMS partner, who handles incident and bug resolution, and provide support by clarifying system configurations as needed.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems

Who You Are?

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Workday, specifically Workday Payroll, Time Tracking and Absence Management.
• Experience with multi-country or global Workday deployments
• Ability to organize, track, and manage multiple moving parts with medium supervision.
• Strong understanding of payroll, time tracking, and absence processes.
• Good understanding of Workday HCM Core and Reporting
• Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in English.
• Problem-solving attitude, proactive approach, and demonstrated initiative.
• Strong organizational skills, adept at managing requirements and prioritizing projects.
• Experience working in a large, dynamic, global organization is preferred.
• Ability to present technical information and processes to non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with testing cycles and activities related to People system enhancements, changes, and upgrades.
• Experience working in Agile environments and ability to work effectively within a virtual team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Workday US/Canada (good to have)
• Experience leading multiple projects and driving self and others to deliver needed results within required deadlines.
• Experience with Workday Benefits configuration will be a plus
• Knowledge of Workday integrations (Studio, EIB, Core Connectors)
