Job summary

Strada Poland Sp Zoo in Kraków is seeking a Workday Functional Consultant to join a global HR tech and payroll team. You will become a hands-on expert in Absence Management and Time Tracking, working with clients post go-live to design, configure and test Workday solutions while mentoring junior consultants.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, build trusted client relationships, and apply Strada methodologies to deliver value across multiple engagements.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communications skills; fluent English is a prerequisite.
• Analytical and functional skills demonstrated by project or support work.
• Experience with Workday Absence Management and/or Time Tracking or 2+ years supporting them.
• Exposure to the maintenance and enhancement of HR Systems (post go-live).
• Consultancy experience in HR processes is desirable.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, a clear ability to ‘consult’ for and with your clients.
• Experience managing stakeholders and collaborating in teams.
• Experience with multiple concurrent work assignments and virtual teams.
• Ability to act with integrity and be self-motivated.

As a Workday Functional Consultant, you will play a key role as part of an industry-leading team, helping to drive results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions within our Professional Services business group.

Location is home-based with travel to client sites (up to 40%).

Your impact as a WD Consultant

Become a hands‑on subject matter expert in the Workday product suite, specializing and deepening your skill set within the Workday Absence Management & Time Tracking functional areas.

Work closely with the client to understand (their post go‑live) requirements and design, build, configure and test the Workday solution.

As a Functional Consultant play an important part in the training development of Junior Consultants.

Play an active role in your area of expertise, a point of reference for sharing knowledge and information with colleagues, collaborating to improve internal capability, including training and mentoring of new team members.

Build an excellent rapport with Professional Service clients, guiding and assisting them on getting the most from their Workday deployment.

Develop strong and trusting relationships with other members of the project team and management as well as external clients.

Bring insights from your product and industry knowledge, by being innovative and keeping well informed on HR and Financials business landscape.

Understand and apply Workday and Strada methodologies.

Contribute to Strada’s financial performance by delivering excellence to our clients and managing your work on several clients in parallel.

Your Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communications skills – fully fluent English is a pre‑requisite for this role
• Advanced analytical and functional skills evidenced by playing a role in projects or in a support environment
• Certified in Workday Absence Management and/or Time Tracking or minimum 2 years experience supporting Workday Absence Management and/or Time Tracking as a client
• Exposure to the maintenance and enhancement of HR Systems (post go‑live)
• Consultancy experience of HR processes and/or worked within an HR Services team is desirable
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, a clear ability to ‘consult’ for and with your clients
• Experience of confidently managing stakeholders
• Evidence of collaboration and contribution in your previous work environments
• Ideally, experience working on multiple concurrent work assignments
• Ideally, experience playing a key role in virtual teams
• Ability to act with integrity
• Able to self‑manage confidently, with good personal productivity and self‑motivation
