Job summary

Strada is seeking a Payroll Accounting Specialist to provide solid payroll accounting and funding expertise for Strada clients. You will work with auditors, respond to technical inquiries, and lead initiatives to resolve high-risk escalations with financial and legal implications.

You will reconcile payroll activity to the GL and bank accounts, review interfaces, support client engagements, and drive implementations and go-lives.

Qualifications

• Payroll and financial reporting experience preferred.
• Accounting experience is required.
• 1 to 3 years’ experience using Workday or similar accounting systems.
• Ability to multitask and manage the workload of the team members.
• Strong communication with internal teams and clients.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Advanced MS Office skills including Excel.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile payroll activity with the general ledger and bank accounts.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and identify adjustments.
• Support client engagement and ensure information is accurate and timely.
• Provide daily functional support to payroll and GL teams.
• Respond to audit requests and ensure proper controls.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
