Job summary

Capgemini Polska is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to administer Windows Server environments and manage Microsoft services across the organization. You will oversee VMware vSphere VMs, patching, and server hardware, while ensuring secure, reliable operation in a hybrid work setting.

You will collaborate with global teams, maintain runbooks, and provide knowledge transfer to future support staff.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Windows Server infrastructure.
• Proficiency managing Microsoft services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and PKI.
• Hands-on experience with physical servers (Dell, HP, Lenovo).
• Ability to create automation scripts using PowerShell or similar.
• Familiarity with VMware vSphere."
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

YOUR TASKS

• Administer and optimize Windows Server infrastructure, including patch management and security updates.
• Manage core Microsoft services, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Oversee VMware virtual machines in vSphere and maintain physical servers.
• Conduct system health checks and adjust parameters to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage incidents, problems, changes, and service requests (SR) while ensuring alignment with client needs.
• Maintain documentation, including runbooks and transition files for operational handover.
• Act as the primary technical contact, facilitating smooth communication between teams.
• Share expertise with future support teams to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.

YOUR PROFILE

• Experience in administering Windows Server infrastructure.
• Proficiency in managing Microsoft services, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and PKI.
• Strong background in managing physical servers such as Dell, HP, or Lenovo.
• Hands-on experience in Windows Server patching and security updates.
• Ability to create and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell or another scripting language.
• Familiarity with VMware virtual machines in vSphere.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
