Job summary
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy sp. z o.o. is seeking a Junior Service Technician to perform planned and unplanned maintenance on wind turbines at our site in Szymanowice.
You will diagnose, repair, and maintain electromechanical systems and document all activities. You will work with SCADA data, follow EHS standards, and participate in on-call rotations. If you have vocational training in mechanics/electronics, safety training (GWO), and hands-on tool experience, join our field team and help
Qualifications
- Vocational training or a technical degree in mechanics, electronics, or electrical engineering.
- Experience maintaining and repairing electromechanical systems in an industrial environment; wind industry experience is a plus.
- GWO Basic Safety Training or ability to obtain it; strong commitment to safe working practices.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to maximize turbine availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using appropriate tools.
- Analyze turbine performance data via SCADA to identify issues and support improvements.
- Complete accurate service reports and document maintenance activities.
- Interpret engineering drawings to support service execution.
- Adhere to EHS and quality requirements and participate in safety culture.
