Job summary

Siemens Gamesa is seeking a Wind Technician in Poland to perform planned and corrective maintenance on wind turbines on-site. You will diagnose, repair, and service mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, while analyzing SCADA data to improve performance. Documentation and safety compliance are essential, with on-call rotation to support customers.

The role emphasizes safe working practices, on-site availability, and collaboration within the Wind Power team as part of Siemens Energy.

Qualifications

• Vocational training or a technical degree in Mechanics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience maintaining and repairing electromechanical systems in an industrial environment.
• Wind industry experience is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with solid mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge.
• Ability to work confidently with hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment.
• Experience using SCADA systems and preparing clear, accurate technical service documentation.
• GWO Basic Safety Training certification, or the ability to obtain it, along with a commitment to safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• As a Wind Technician, you will spend most of your day working on-site to keep wind turbines operating safely, reliably, and efficiently.
• You'll perform planned and corrective maintenance, diagnose technical issues, and carry out mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs.
• You'lI analyze turbine performance data, complete service documentation, and ensure all work is performed in accordance with Siemens Energy's quality and EHS standards.
• You'll also participate in an on‑call rotation to support customers when needed.
