WSI seeks a Welding Engineer specializing in TIG and orbital welding to develop and qualify welding technologies for industrial projects. You will prepare WPS and WPQR/PQR, plan qualification, and provide technical guidance to project, production and sales teams.

Responsibilities include selecting parameters, reviewing customer specs, and supporting welding trials. Travel to customer sites may be required; IWE and VT2 are advantageous.

Competenze

• Engineering degree, preferably in welding, mechanical, or materials engineering.
• IWE diploma is required.
• Experience developing TIG and orbital welding technologies.
• Experience preparing WPSs and WPQR/PQR documentation.
• Knowledge of ISO 15614, ASME Section IX, EN ISO 3834, EN ISO 14731, EN ISO 14732.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites and projects.
• VT Level 2 certification is a plus.

• Develop TIG and orbital welding technologies for industrial projects.

• Plan and oversee welding procedure qualification and test results.
• Select welding parameters, consumables, and tooling based on materials and joint geometry.
