Job summary

WSI, a leader in automated repairs for pressure equipment, seeks a Welding Engineer specializing in TIG and orbital welding to develop and qualify welding technologies for industrial projects. You will prepare WPS and WPQR/PQR documentation, plan qualification, and guide project teams.

Based in Radom with partial hybrid work potential, the role requires IWE, 3–4 years of experience, and fluency in English. Collaboration with customers, inspectors, and engineering teams will ensure compliant

Qualifications

Engineering degree required.
IWE diploma required.
3–4 years of Welding Engineer experience.
Experience developing TIG and orbital welding technologies.
Experience preparing WPS, qualifying welding procedures and WPQR/PQR documentation.
Knowledge of ISO 15614, ASME IX, EN ISO 3834, EN ISO 14731/14732.
Good written and spoken English.
MS Office knowledge; AutoCAD LT advantageous.
Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

Develop and improve TIG and orbital welding technologies for industrial projects.
Prepare, review and update WPS and WPQR/PQR documentation.
Plan and oversee welding procedure qualification and testing.
Select parameters, consumables and tooling based on materials and joint geometry.
Review specs and drawings to ensure work aligns with requirements.
Support technical feasibility assessments, quotations and estimates.
Participate in welding trials and tests of orbital welding equipment.
