Job summary

JLL in Warsaw is seeking Senior Associate/Associate for the Energy & Infrastructure Advisory team to drive transactions in Poland and the CEE region. You will work with internationally arranged teams to deliver complex advisory services across renewables.

The role requires 2–5 years in a similar role, strong M&A and financing experience, and advanced financial modelling using Excel. Fluency in Polish and English is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2–5 years of professional experience in a similar role in an international organization
• Demonstrable experience in managing M&A transactions and financing operations
• Experience of producing high‑quality documents using the full suite of Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrable experience of developing and using complex financial/Excel models
• Knowledge of the Polish renewable energy market
• A proactive, get-it-done attitude with a desire to improve and the ability to learn on the job
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to work in a team environment
• A Bachelor’s or equivalent university degree. A Masters or MBA will be positively valued
• Native‑like fluency in Polish (or any other CEE local language). Fluent English is a must.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the execution of M&A transactions
• Contribute to the relationship with existing clients as well as internal and external stakeholders
• Work with junior team members, prepare financial models and transaction documents (teaser, IM, Q&A, etc.) as well as client deliverables
• Proactively support EIA team directors in pursuing new business development opportunities through client leads and pitches
• Lead the development of in-house financial models and undertake valuation assignments
• Support junior team members on assignments
• Develop thought leadership materials and produce sector insights on the renewable market
• Support growth and development of the EIA team through various internal tasks
