Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Warsaw, Poland, seeks a Senior Associate/Associate to join the Renewable Energy team within Energy & Infrastructure Advisory. You will work on M&A transactions, build and review financial models, and support client engagements across the CEE region.

The role requires 2–5 years of relevant international experience, strong Excel modelling, Polish language proficiency, and fluent English. A Bachelor's degree is required, MBA is valued. On-site in Warsaw.

Qualifications

• At least 2–5 years of professional experience in a similar role in an international organization.
• Demonstrable experience in managing M&A transactions and financing operations.
• Experience of producing high-quality documents using the full suite of Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrable experience of developing and using complex financial/Excel models.
• Knowledge of the Polish renewable energy market.
• A proactive, get-it-done attitude with a desire to improve and the ability to learn on the job.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to work in a team environment.
• A Bachelor's or equivalent university degree. A Masters or MBA will be positively valued.
• Native-like fluency in Polish (or any other CEE local language).
• Fluent English is a must.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the execution of M&A transactions.
• Contribute to the relationship with existing clients as well as internal and external stakeholders.
• Working with junior team members, prepare financial models and transaction documents (e.g. teaser, IM, Q&A, etc.) as well as client deliverables.
• Proactively supporting EIA team directors in pursuing new business development opportunities through the generation of client leads and preparation of pitches.
• Lead the development of in-house financial models and undertake valuation assignments.
• Support junior team members on assignments.
• Develop thought leadership materials and produce sector insights on the renewable market.
• Supporting the growth and development of the EIA team through a variety of internal tasks.
