Job summary

Cognizant Poland is seeking a Video Content Moderator to join our team in Kraków. The role involves reviewing user reports, identifying content per compliance policies, and making balanced decisions under tight deadlines.

You will handle sensitive material and contribute to safe, constructive online spaces while working a demanding 8/7 shift from the office. We value quick learners with strong communication and organizational skills, ready to adapt to evolving guidelines and provide quality

Responsibilities

• Review user reports on website content and assess against policies.
• Identify and classify content according to compliance rules.
• Make balanced decisions and escalate discrepancies per procedures.
• Use market-specific knowledge to support the user community.
• Review sensitive content, including potentially graphic material.

WORK FROM THE OFFICE*

Working hours: 7AM - 3PM (main shift)

Working mode: 5 days per week, including weekend shifts.

Readiness, depending on business needs, to work on a 24/7 basis (morning, afternoon or night shifts).

Requirements:

• Proficiency of Latvian language on at least C1 level and English at B2 level,
• Availability to work on a 8/7 shift pattern (including weekend shifts) from the office,
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills,
• Quick learner and adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills,
• Excellent organizational and time management skills,
• Strong attention to detail and a desire to deliver accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard,
• Having a neutral mindset to alternative video content that needs classification.

Accountabilities:

• Revision of user reports regarding website content,
• Analysis and identification of content according to compliance policies,
• Making well-balanced decisions and helping to resolve inquiries to defined policies and procedures by flagging discrepancies,
• Using market specific knowledge and insights to improve the support of user community,
• Revision of sensitive content, sometimes involving graphic or disturbing subject matter.

Content Moderators play an important role in ensuring the safety of online communities against harmful user generated content. Safeguarding the online communication space can lead to meaningful and rewarding work for a content moderator as the mission of moderation aims to create positive, safe and inclusive environments for everyone.

Rewarding outcomes are not often without challenges. As a part of the job requirement, you will be required to review and analyze explicit and extremely sensitive content sometimes involving graphic or otherwise disturbing text, videos, and images which may be disturbing due to their egregious nature. The content under review is likely to expose the reviewer to crime scenes, dangerous or derogatory content, abuse, harassment and sexually explicit content.
