Job summary

Arini is seeking a Controller to support the Fund Finance team in delivering timely and accurate valuation and financial reporting for the investment vehicles managed by Arini. The role is based in a cross-border team with London and Poland.

The successful candidate will join a team that prioritises robust valuation oversight and reporting processes, ideal for an ambitious product or fund controller to develop further in a hedge fund environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role at another investment fund or a fund administrator.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Experience in product control and/or fund accounting, with a strong understanding of valuation and NAV-related controls.
• Good understanding of financial instruments from a valuation perspective.
• Familiarity with common investment fund structures.
• Experience working in globally distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Review daily internal valuation and P&L reports, compare them with the fund administrator’s reports, and investigate any discrepancies.
• Support the coordination of the month-end valuation process.
• Perform price verification controls, maintain logs of valuation exceptions and challenges, and assist in preparing Valuation Committee materials.
• Perform checks over weekly and month-end NAV packs.
• Assist in the preparation of investor reporting.
