Job summary

Arini Capital Management is seeking a Product Control Developer in Warsaw to design, build and maintain systems supporting valuation, PnL calculations and reporting. You will create automated workflows, handle market data and FX movements, and develop data pipelines across multiple asset classes.

The role requires 2–5 years in quantitative development or similar, with strong Python and SQL skills and experience in finance.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in quantitative development, software engineering, or similar technical role in financial services.
• Demonstrable experience with fixed income products; familiarity with trading PnL is highly desirable.
• Strong Python and SQL skills; experience building data pipelines, automation, and analytical tools.
• Experience collaborating with finance, risk and operations teams to enhance valuation and reporting.
• Experience managing and integrating market and reference data into valuation/reporting frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain applications to support valuation, PnL calculation and reporting across multiple systems and data sources.
• Develop automated workflows for daily PnL calculation and attribution including market value movements, cash flows, trade events, and FX movements.
• Build and maintain pricing, risk sensitivities and risk-based PnL attribution data/tools for multiple asset classes.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to source, validate and transform market and reference data for downstream reporting and valuation.
• Automate operational processes to improve efficiency, accuracy and scalability across teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver robust solutions.
• Write robust production-grade code with focus on reliability, performance and maintainability.
• Ensure all solutions are scalable and maintainable within the tech stack.
• Contribute to strategic technology initiatives and ad-hoc projects as required.

Position Description:

Arini is recruiting for a Product Control Developer to join the fast growing team in Warsaw.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Design, develop and maintain applications to support valuation, PnL calculation and reporting process across multiple systems and data sources
• Develop and enhance automated workflows for daily P&L calculation and attribution, incorporating market value movements, cash flows, trade lifecycle events, and FX movements.
• Building and maintain pricing, risk sensitivities and risk based PnL attribution data or tool for asset classes such as equities, fixed income, FX, and derivatives.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to source, validate and transform market and reference data for downstream reporting and valuation processes.
• Automate operational processes to improve efficiency, accuracy and scalability across teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver robust business solutions.
• Write robust, production-level code with a focus on reliability, performance and maintainability
• Ensure all developed solutions are scalable and maintainable within the tech stack.
• Contribute to both strategic technology initiatives and ad-hoc projects as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Prior experience (2-5 years) in quantitative development, software engineering, or a similar technical role within financial services
• Demonstrable experience in fixed income products. Familiarity with trading PnL is highly desirable.
• Strong Python and SQL skills, with experience building data pipelines, automation solutions and analytical tools.
• Experience working closely with finance, risk and operations teams to enhance valuation and reporting.
• Experience managing and integrating market and reference data into valuation and reporting frameworks.
