Job summary

Motorola Solutions Kraków is seeking an experienced UX Manager to lead an existing design team and drive advanced systems for public safety applications within the incident workflow.

You will guide a transition to a working-model focused on code and AI-enabled design, collaborating closely with engineering and product partners to elevate usability and impact across product spaces. This role emphasizes leadership, AI literacy, and change management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience leading and managing small to medium design teams, supported by 7+ years of overall hands-on experience in UX/Product Design.
• Solid, hands-on UX/UI foundation, demonstrated through examples of prior design at a senior / leadership level.
• Understanding of front-end architecture (HTML/CSS, basics of native UI libraries) and experience collaborating closely with development.
• A demonstrable process of workflow optimization using AI, and a track record of exploration, with opinions on how AI and Design will merge.
• Ability to navigate organizational change with empathy, specifically in upskilling and transforming the team's capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Team Management, Mentoring & Change Leadership: Build a strong, highly motivated team of UX/UI designers and support craft development.
• End-to-End Design & AI Prototyping: Guide the team through design process evolution, creating functional prototypes, working code, and AI integrations.
• AI Literacy & Process Optimization: Implement and champion AI tools to accelerate user research, automate tasks, and generate layout variations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Advocate for the user in discussions with Product Managers and Development Leads.
• Resource Management: Allocate design resources to priority initiatives while preserving time for innovation.
