Kake is a remote-first company and a people-first global community of senior engineers. We’re building the pipeline behind large-format immersive display experiences and seek a Pipeline Developer to join the creative technology team.

You’ll work with Unreal Engine, Perforce, and high-resolution rendering workflows to deliver reliable tooling from asset creation to final delivery. Join a fast-paced, distributed team that values independence and exceptional communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on Unreal Engine development experience, including plugin development.
• Experience optimizing and troubleshooting rendering pipelines for large-format (16k+) and tiled displays.
• Experience integrating cloud rendering solutions into production pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Perforce version control and pipeline workflows.
• Experience with asset management systems and publishing pipeline support.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ for scripting and automation.
• Strong understanding of VFX or game studio pipeline workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Unreal Engine plugins for rendering and pipeline workflows.
• Build automation and tooling that streamlines the VFX pipeline from asset creation to delivery.
• Implement and maintain Perforce pipeline integration across studio tools.
• Manage materials and assets through the studio's publishing and asset management systems.
• Integrate Unreal Engine workflows with proprietary encoding, playback, and cloud rendering systems.
